Descriptive Text Rhendi Fiarel

 Assalamualaikum wr wb


Let me introduce myself, my name is Rhendi Fiarel, class X DPIB 1, number 30.


Here I will explain my understanding of the material I studied this week, namely "Descriptive Text Structure"


There are 3 aspects of descriptive text, namely:


1. Social function.

2. Text Structure.

3. Language Features.


-> Social Function, namely telling about the search for missing people, work, announcements, accidents, natural disasters, etc.


-> There are 3 text structures, namely:


a.) Identification.

b.) Description.

c.) Conclusion.


-> Then next there are Language Features, there are 2 language features, namely:


a.) Sentence Structure (susunan kalimat)

Standar of Sentence Structure called 


S: Subject.


V: Verb.


O : Object.


M: Adverb of Procedure.


P: Adverb of Place.


T: Adverb of Time.


b.) Next there is a Subject and Object to ask for a noun. Nouns are Real and Abstract.


-> Examples of 10 real nouns, including:


1. Chair (kursi)

2. Desk (meja)

3. Pan (panci)

4. Ruler (penggaris)

5. Spoon (sendok)

6. Clock (jam)

7. Book (buku)

8. Window (jendela)

9. Fan (kipas angin)

10. Eraser (penghapus)



-> Examples of 10 abstract nouns, including:


1. Happiness (kebahagiaan)

2. Sadness (kesedihan)

3. Fear (Ketakutan)

4. Courage (Keberanian)

5. Honesty (Kehormatan)

6. Love (Cinta)

7. Hate (Kebencian)

8. Hope (Harapan)

9. Agreement (Persetujuan)

10. Confidence (Kepercayaan diri)

My experience in making recount text
